In my opinion, besides being a source of information, the Internet represents a source of risks and insecurity. Millions of people use the internet every day. Some seek information while others use it to buy products online, to send e-mails. Unfortunately, there are people who take advantage of all this traffic, managing to steal personal and confidential information. When people chat online with other people what they don't know is they should not make public their personal information. Usually children and teenagers are exposed to these risks.
Also, there are various viruses that may affect computers. For this there are protection programs, antivirus, that people should use.
In conclusion, people need to be careful how they browse the internet.
